Kaelin Ferland, Outreach Organizer (Temporary)

Kaelin outdoorsBy mobilizing and engaging members, stakeholders, and community members, Kaelin builds support for our advocacy priorities, especially in the Healthy Waters and Forests & Wildlife programs. She helps develop plans and goals, conducts training and research, and works with Communications team members to develop informational materials of all sorts. Kaelin graduated from Providence College with a B.S. in Environmental Biology and a minor in French. There, she worked as student Sustainability Coordinator, served as the co-president of both the Environmental Club and Animal Welfare Club, led the EcoRep program, and wrote articles with an environmental focus for the student newspaper. Kaelin moved to Maine a few years ago, from New York state, where she grew up. She lives in Saco.
