The National Advisory Board was established in 1997 in recognition of NRCM's increasing influence on environmental discussions outside of Maine and in support of national and regional efforts to address the major environmental issues facing the state. National Advisory Board members advise the Board of Directors on emerging issues and serve as ambassadors for the organization.
