She writes, “As a Nurse Practitioner, I’m often surrounded by the intensity of human moments. Photography allows me to slow down and notice the quiet beauty around me. This image was taken in Bar Harbor, when a bird flew toward me up the street. It was a reminder of how spontaneous and alive the Maine coast can be!”
