We know snow has arrived in some parts of Maine (we’d love to see your pics!), but we want to enjoy a few photos from late summer before the snow starts to accumulate.
Longtime NRCM member David Preston of China Village, Maine, once again shares some gorgeous photos of Lobster Lake, just north of Moosehead, from a canoe camping trip he took in September. He writes, “There are many lovely campsites and views of Big Spencer and Lobster Mountain. We hiked the trail up Lobster Mountain for a good view of the lake and Katahdin beyond. So lucky to live in Maine!” We couldn’t agree more, David!
