Longtime NRCM member Jayne Winters of South China, Maine, has shared her photographs with us for many years. You may also recognize her name as she writes our monthly Critter Chatter blog, and shares stories of wildlife rehabilitation that happens at the Duck Pond Wildlife Center in Vassalboro.
This week, we want to share some of Jayne’s pics of Maine’s “critters.” She has a lot of wildlife that visits her in her backyard, but also that she sees around the state in her travels.
Do you have wildlife photos to share? If so, we’d love to see them. Send them to us at nrcm@nrcm.org. In the meantime, please enjoy some of Jayne’s most recent photographs below.

This deer is the first one I have ever seen in our yard in South China, and it came to visit at just the right time. What a gift!
