My Maine This Week: Bluebird Skies by Linda Woods

    NRCM member Linda Woods of Waterville, Maine, shares some of her photos from a recent snowshoe hike up Rumford Whitecap Mountain (elevation 2,214 ft) with her husband, Harry. “Perfect bluebird sky! Windy on top!” she writes. She also shares views of two more of her favorite mountains, taken during her favorite season of the year: winter!

    She also shares two of her photos of an icy waterfall on Old Spec, to which she snowshoed. She said that technical ice climbers use this waterfall, too. Thanks, Linda!
