Vanessa LaVallee, Senior Director of Philanthropy
As a member of the senior leadership team, Vanessa is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive donor engagement and fundraising strategy to support NRCM’s mission and goals. Most recently, she was Senior Vice President of Operations and Advancement at The Climate Reality Project, the nonprofit founded by Al Gore to seek action on the climate crisis. Her background also includes senior roles at the Motion Picture Association of America, Georgetown University, the Clinton/Gore White House, and the Texas Legislature. Vanessa majored in government at the University of Texas at Austin. Vanessa lives in Cape Elizabeth with her husband, their daughter, and their two dogs.
