Nicole Beetle, Grants Manager

Nicole is a nonprofit professional with extensive training and experience in the environmental, governance, and social components of sustainability. As Grants Manager, she works collaboratively with NRCM staff to represent the science, policy, communications, and organizing work across issue areas to institutional funders. She serves as a resource for external partners seeking to support NRCM’s essential work. With more than a decade of experience in environmental conservation, sustainability practices, and international development, including six years at World Wildlife Fund US, she most recently spent time with a Maine nonprofit, Community Dental, as a Grants Manager. She values work that improves lives and communities, and protecting the people and nature of Maine with NRCM does just that. Nicole grew up in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire and loves living in South Portland. You can often find her at a nearby park or beach, accompanied by a dog.

Favorite ice cream flavor: Coffee oreo!
