Gail Begin, Executive Assistant

Woman smiling, holding a fish by a river Gail is an accomplished administrative professional with more than three decades of experience supporting executive leadership across healthcare, nonprofit, and association sectors. She operates with excellent attention to detail, ability to anticipate, and discretion. Previously, Gail served as Supervisor and Executive Assistant to the President & CEO at MaineGeneral Medical Center, where she acted as Secretary to the Board of Directors and its subcommittees, managed governance operations, and oversaw event coordination, scheduling, and budget tracking for the executive office. Her work in healthcare administration is informed by two decades at the Maine Medical Association, where she led the Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Accreditation program, overseeing more than 140 annual CME activities and ensuring compliance with national standards. She also directed specialty medical societies and was instrumental in developing events, securing grant funding, and training staff across institutions. She managed the MMA office along with overseeing the management and operations of buildings owned by the Association. Gail resides in Chelsea, Maine, and enjoys fishing, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling and camping with her family and friends.
