NRCM supporter Terry Chick of Eliot, Maine, shares this photo he took in November in southern Maine. He writes, “Bird watching on the Maine coast sometimes offers rarities like this Western Kingbird that typically winters in Central America. This bird was photographed on Crescent Beach at Seapoint, Kittery Point, Maine. A member of the flycatcher family it’s feasting on a bonanza of flies that frequent seaweed on the beach.”
Congratulations for seeing this rare-to-Maine bird, Terry!
