Please join NRCM Sustainable Maine Program Manager Vanessa Berry at Curtis Memorial Library in Brunswick on Thursday, October 30th from 6:00-7:30 PM as part of this two-part, two-evening event. Vanessa will be speaking about “Maine Leads the Way on EPR” to share updates and ways to be involved in the implementation of Maine’s first-in-the-nation Extended Producer Responsibility for Packaging law.
Mariel Geiger of the Surfrider Foundation will also be speaking about “The Good, the Bad, the Ugly of Plastics.”
The second part of the series will be on Wednesday, November 5th at the Patten Free Library in Bath. Speakers that evening from 5:00-6:30 PM will be Bath City Councilor Megan Mansfield Pryor and environmental educator Bea Johnson of ecomaine.
