This fall, join us Downeast for a long weekend of recreation and learning at Weatherby’s sporting camp in Grand Lake Stream, a remote section of the land that is the source of our inspiration.
Daytime activities include group outings, the peace and quiet of the remote camp, or book a private fishing guide. Evenings include socializing and learning opportunities with NRCM staff and local experts. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience a Maine sporting camp with the NRCM community.
Contact Events@nrcm.org with questions or to reserve your spot. Space is limited, reserve your spot today!
NRCM recognizes and honors the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians, Mi’kmaq Nation, Penobscot Nation, and the Passamaquoddy Tribe, collectively the Wabanaki Nations. The Wabanaki Nations have stewarded what is now called Maine for generations, stretching back to before colonial settlers forcibly occupied the area. All of us in Maine are on unceded lands once overseen by Wabanaki people. In our work at NRCM, including on this excursion, we attempt to center this truth and move steadily toward justice for Wabanaki people and recognition of their inherent sovereignty and rightful stewardship of these lands and waters.
