Hear about the importance of the Land for Maine’s Future program. You will also hear from community leaders and local organizations sharing the work they’re doing to protect special places and strengthen connections across the region. Join Maine mushroom expert Greg Marley and NRCM from 9 AM to noon as we explore Great Pond Mountain Conservation Trust lands in search of wild mushrooms! Participants should come ready to walk and explore off trail. This is an opportunity to find and identify edible and inedible wild mushrooms with expert insight.
