Thank you for joining the Natural Resources Council of Maine in Bangor on Wednesday November 8 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. for a panel on solar policy hosted by InSource Renewables in conjunction with their Solarize Bangor initiative. The event was held at Schoodic Hall on the Eastern Maine Community College campus, 354 Hogan Road, Bangor.
Whether you’ve been paying attention to solar for years, or are just started to wonder about it now, this event was an opportunity to hear from experts and to ask questions about the future of solar in Maine.
- Senator Tom Saviello (R-Franklin), sponsor of a key solar bill last session (LD 1504) that received broad bipartisan support
- Dylan Voorhees, Climate and Clean Energy Project Director at the Natural Resources Council of Maine
- Vaughan Woodruff of Insource Renewables.
Glen Brand from Sierra Club Maine offered remarks, and Bangor resident Karen Marysdaughter served as moderator.
This event was free and open to the public.
