It’s time to resist and rise up together to fight the Trump Administration’s efforts to dismantle the federal laws and agencies that protect the health of our people and our planet. Thanks to all who joined NRCM and our partners to learn about the threats we face and hone the advocacy skills we’ll need to fight back.

6:00-8:00 p.m.
Bangor High School
885 Broadway, Bangor
Attendees learned about the current threats and our efforts to protect our national parks, grow solar power in Maine, and defend the crucial Clean Air Act. Then learned the skills to make a difference, including how to lobby legislators on issues that matter, how to make an impact with your unique story, and how to get the message out using social media and letters to the editor.
There were fun actions to take and plenty of networking with other Mainers who want to take a stand right now for Maine’s environment. Snacks and drinks to fuel our activism were provided.
This event was co-sponsored by the Natural Resources Council of Maine, Maine Conservation Voters, The Wilderness Society, Appalachian Mountain Club, and Maine Public Health Association.
