NRCM and our partners invited guests to learn about electric cars in Maine on Saturday, September 15 from 12 noon until 4:00 p.m. at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, 256 Main Street in South Paris, Maine, during the fourth annual EV Expo.
The Transportation and Energy Working Groups of the Center for an Ecology-Based Economy and the Maine Electric Vehicle Association hosted this event as part of National Drive Electric Week, which also featured events in South Portland and elsewhere throughout the state.
The event celebrated CEBE’s ongoing installation of its Western Maine EV Charging Network and featured guest speakers, as well as test drives and rides of electric cars such as a VW e-Golf, Nissan Leaf, Kia Soul EV, Chevy Bolt, Teslas, and more. eBikes will also be featured and refreshments will be available.
