With so many environmental rollbacks being proposed by the Trump Administration, now is time to rise up together to fight back against the Trump Administration’s anti-science, anti-environment agenda. NRCM invited you to attend this event to learn more about the threats we face and how you can take action for Maine’s environment.
Thursday, October 4 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Auburn Public Library, Androscoggin County Room, 49 Spring Street in Auburn
Guests learned about the threats we face to our clean air, clean water, land, and wildlife. Then, they learned citizen advocacy skills needed to take action, like how to convince your legislators and how best to get out your message using social media and letters to the editor. The event was free and open to the public.
NRCM was proud to co-sponsor this event with our environment and public health partners: Maine Conservation Voters, Maine Public Health Association, Maine Audubon, Appalachian Mountain Club, and Midcoast Conservancy.
