Thanks to all who joined NRCM online for our annual State House Action Day for Maine’s Environment. The Maine Legislature is considering several bills this winter that would reduce toxic pollution, conserve Maine’s forests, expand renewable energy, and keep our waters clean. Your state lawmakers need to hear from you in support of these bills before they vote. At State House Action Day, participants heard directly from NRCM’s advocacy staff about these bills, key talking points, and tips for effectively lobbying your lawmakers. After the event, we hope you were able to call your lawmakers to urge them to support these important environmental policies.
