Join NRCM on Wednesday, September 27th from 6:00–7:30 p.m. in the Rines Auditorium, at the Portland Public Library’s Sustainability Series event Conservation and Kegs: How Keeping Land Green is Good for Maine Breweries.
The event will explore the role of Sebago Lake’s surrounding forest and watershed in our local beer economy, and feature Paul Hunt and Laurel Jackson from the Portland Water District in conversation with Luke Truman from Allagash Brewing and Nathan Sanborn from Rising Tide Brewing. After the presentations, there will be a beer tasting and opportunity to take action on the federal issues threatening the Sebago Lake Watershed. Please join us to learn more about the role of land conservation in water quality and its impact on our local economy.
Free and open to the public. There will be a beer tasting after the event for attendees 21+.
