Cars and trucks are the leading source of climate-changing pollution in Maine and across the country, but fossil fuel lobbyists, their supporters in Congress, and the Trump Administration are attacking fuel efficiency standards. These standards will clean our air and save Mainers money at the gas pump. It is time to come together and stand up to protect our health and environment.
Please join us at Maine Speaks on Climate and Cars: The Citizens’ Hearing at the Bangor Public Library’s Norman Minsky Lecture Hall, 145 Hammond Street, Bangor from 5:30-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28.
Please come learn more and make your voice heard. We will submit your written or spoken comments to the public record.
The event is free and open to the public, but for planning purposes, please RSVP. Refreshments will be served at 5:30 p.m. with the hearing beginning at 6:00 p.m.
