NRCM’s annual Citizen Action Day will be held on Tuesday, February 6. It’s a great opportunity for people to meet with their legislators at the State House in Augusta and urge them to vote to protect Maine’s environment.
NRCM Citizen Action Day
Tuesday, February 6, 2018
8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
NRCM’s office and the Maine State House
3 Wade Street, Augusta
At NRCM Citizen Action Day, participants will hear from NRCM’s staff experts first-hand. We provide information on environmental issues in Maine, upcoming priority bills, and tips to communicate effectively with legislators. We will bring you across the street to the Maine State House to help you find their legislators, and will make sure that everyone leave Augusta having made a difference. We even provide breakfast and lunch!
Time and time again, concerned citizens like you have had a big impact on the outcome of legislation that is important for Maine’s environment.
It is important that you RSVP in advance for this event so that we can provide the correct legislator information for you when you arrive.
