This has felt like a real Maine winter, hasn’t it? Lots of white, fluffy snow and not as much ice as in recent winters. This has made for some good skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling.
NRCM member Gerard Austin of Solon shares his two photos of a recent trip on Coburn Mountain in Somerset County. Those trees are heavy with snow — but look at that view from the top of the mountain enjoying winter on his snowmobile!
