Description: Wyman Lake is the result of a dam on the Kennebec River between Moscow and Pleasant Ridge. The lake is 13 miles long, the water is clean and clear, surrounded by beautiful forests.

Why It’s Special: I have an affinity for lakes! My family has a camp on Wyman Lake that we visit whenever we can.
Tips: There’s a dock at the Moscow public landing that you can jump off, and a nice island to paddle out to with a rope-swing and picnic table
More Info and Directions: In Bingham, coming from the south, turn left onto Route 16 after the old Meeting House. From the north, keep going to a right-hand turn onto Route 16, just Jimmy’s Market. Cross the bridge and turn right. In about two and a half miles, you’ll see Wyman Dam.
