Gail Begin, Executive Assistant

Woman smiling, holding a fish by a river Gail provides administrative support to the Executive Director, managing calendars, coordinating travel plans, taking minutes, and often serving as liaison with staff and board, and others. She helps with onboarding, attends various meetings, and takes minutes. With more than three decades of experience, Gail most recently served as Executive Assistant to the President & CEO of MaineGeneral Medical Center, where she also acted as Secretary to the Board of Directors and its subcommittees, managed governance operations, and oversaw event coordination, scheduling, and budget tracking for the executive office. She also led the Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Accreditation program, overseeing more than 140 annual CME activities and ensuring compliance with national standards. Gail and her husband reside in Chelsea, and she enjoys fishing, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, and camping with her family and friends.
