Favorite Ice Cream Flavor: Coffee cookies + cream, or a good mint chocolate chip

Cat/Dog Person? Primarily a cat person, with a select few canine exceptions.

What I love to do in Maine’s outdoors: I love hiking in the mountains, but open water swimming is my favorite way to be outside in Maine. There’s nothing like being in the water surrounded by mountains or fall foliage, sometimes joined by loons or eagles.

Why I Do This Work

"I believe in protecting the things I love and value, and certainly my love for exploring (and that of everyone!) is an obvious reason to advocate for the health and integrity of Maine's woods and waters. Forests are so much more than what we seek and find from them, though, and I also believe in conservation for the sake of the ecosystem itself. The longevity of these landscapes is worth defending, human access or not."
