NRCM was at the ribbon cutting event for the Stetson II wind power project, held April 6th in Danforth, Maine. Students from a local school came to see the turbines generate clean renewable power. More than 250 construction workers helped build the 17 turbine, 25 megawatt project — and many were on hand to celebrate the results of their efforts. This video captures short remarks from some of the company officials and construction workers. The first phase of the project (Stetson I) consists of 38 turbines. Combined, these 55 turbines comprise the largest wind power project in New England — helping reduce our dependence on fossil fuels, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and create clean energy jobs.
