Tweet, tweet.
That’s not the sound of a robin or a chickadee, that’s actually the sound of NRCM social networking with you to keep you informed about our latest work to protect Maine’s environment and ways that you can get involved.
NRCM is now “Tweeting” on Twitter and continuing to make “Friends” and “Fans” on our Facebook page. You can find us on Twitter under the user name NRCMenvironment. On Facebook, we’re listed as “Natural Resources Council of Maine.”
We know that many of you are interested in our work and following our blog, so we encourage you also to track our Tweets, join us on Facebook – both quick and easy ways to stay informed, including aobut ways you can take action to protect Maine’s environment. For instance, yesterday on Twitter we let folks know that we were at the Legislature’s public hearing on LD 886, “An Act to Secure Maine’s Energy Future” – and invited our Follwers to join us. Today, we are inviting people to join us for Citizen Action Day next Tuesday, March 17. On Facebook we’re publicizing our 50 Events for 50 Years in celebration of NRCM’s 50th anniversary this year. You can also send your friends and family “NRCM Stuff” like solar panels, a Canada lynx, the Allagash Wilderness Waterway, Mt. Katahdin, and more, as a way to raise awareness about NRCM’s history of success and current legislative priorities.
Tweeting, Facebooking, blogging….just a few new ways you can join the celebration and stay involved in NRCM and our work to protect the nature of Maine for the next 50 years.
Thanks for lettin us know!
As always, the NRCM is out there ahead of the pack. Great job.
