Trees win! And when trees win, people win. The 10th Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the “roadless” rule, maintaining protections in 50 million acres of national forests from new road building. Other bad bills are waiting in the wings in Washington, including one to deny a president’s right to establish a national monument. We can’t let that happen, especially when we’re now trying to study all of options for Maine’s North Woods.
