Measures to Support Accessibility

The Natural Resources Council of Maine is committed to ensuring our website is accessible to persons with disabilities,
including, but not limited to, visitors using screen reader software and other assistive technology. As such, NRCM takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of our website:

  • Employs formal accessibility quality assurance methods.

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. We take accessibility seriously and we are working to make sure our website is accessible, utilizing WCAG 2.1 level AA as a guide.
