Digital Content Producer
Sierra manages organization-wide social media strategy and creates content that distills complex information into clear calls to action. She captures and develops short-form videos, conducting interviews and creating stories essential to engaging our members and the public in NRCM’s mission. She works with external videographers and photographers for additional content as needed, and ensures all content complies with legal and ethical standards, including copyright, privacy regulations, and wildlife photography/videography best practices. Sierra joined NRCM as a member of the Communications team in January of 2024, coming from the nonprofit Maine Mathematics and Science Alliance. She has a degree in environmental studies and art with a focus on film and photography. She enjoys spending her free time in the dance studio, pursuing an art project outside, paddling with friends, or just trying something new. She lives in Kennebec County.
