Pete Didisheim
Senior Director of Advocacy
Pete directs NRCM’s Advocacy team, providing overall direction for program areas. He works with team members on legislative work, research, and analysis. He serves as NRCM’s lead lobbyist and oversees all lobbying as well as outreach work, and helps foster relationships with lawmakers, state agency heads, and other decision-makers to build support for the organization’s priority issues. He works with other Senior Leadership Team members to establish organization-wide policies. Pete has been at NRCM for more than three decades. Prior to starting at NRCM, Pete was Chief of Staff for U.S. Congressman George Brown, Jr. (D-CA) and served in other positions in Washington, D.C. He holds a BA from Williams College and a master’s from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. He’s an avid alpine skier and hiker. He and his wife have two adult sons and live in Brunswick.
