Climate & Clean Energy Director
Jack leads NRCM’s efforts to secure and promote energy efficiency, renewable energy, and clean air strategies to address climate change. He works with lawmakers, state agencies, and other stakeholders including coalition partners in a wide range of areas including the environment, economy, and public health. Prior to joining NRCM, Jack worked at Greenpeace USA and at Organizing for Action, pushing for ambitious federal climate policies. He served for four years as an appointee in the Obama Administration working on issues ranging from conservation, clean energy, and green buildings to community resilience and biodefense. Jack has a bachelor’s degree in ethics, history, and public policy from Carnegie Mellon University and master’s in public administration from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. Originally from the Northwest, Jack lives in Brunswick with his family.
