Senior Director of Outreach and Campaigns
As NRCM’s Senior Director of Outreach and Campaigns, Emmie sets the strategic direction for outreach programs, supervising and mentoring outreach staff, strengthening systems for member and community engagement. She leads the development of advocacy campaign plans to help deepen enduring relationships with people, communities, partners, and constituencies across Maine that support policy priorities. As a member of NRCM’s Senior Leadership Team, she helps shape broader organization strategy and planning efforts. Emmie brings more than a decade of experience in environmental advocacy and organizing to her work as NRCM’s Senior Director of Outreach and Campaigns. Emmie grew up on Orr’s Island and graduated from Colby College where she studied government and environmental policy. Prior to heading up NRCM’s outreach program, Emmie was NRCM’s federal director for five years and also supported efforts in state and local climate and clean energy policies. She lives with her family in Central Maine and enjoys exploring the Maine outdoors.
