Sarah Sindo

NRCM Board of Directors

Sarah became involved with the Natural Resources Council of Maine through its young professional program, NRCM Rising (currently on hiatus), and remains committed to community-based environmental work. She serves as a part-time donor relationship manager for a Chilean conservation nonprofit and volunteers in hospice care. She is happiest outdoors with her dog and also enjoys reading and knitting in quieter moments at home. Sarah works part of the year as Site Manager for the Chewonki Foundation at Big Eddy Campground in Millinocket, where she applies her skills in operations, finance, and property management. During the rest of the year, she enjoys the western Maine mountains and seasonal work in Kingfield, where she lives the rest of the year with her husband and dog.
