Heidi Farber

A native of Portland, Heidi has been passionate about nature and environmental conservation since childhood. After earning a master’s degree in Coastal and Environmental Policy, she worked in several offices of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, D.C., before returning to Maine to raise her family. For the past 20 years, Heidi has dedicated her career to nonprofit leadership, with a focus on management, fundraising, and operations. She recently retired as Director of Development and Marketing at Hospice of Southern Maine. Heidi enjoys spending time at her cabin on the headwaters of the Passadumkeag River and remains committed to environmental stewardship and community service.
