Little Lyford Lodge and Cabins: Built in 1874, Little Lyford Lodge and Cabins offers a remote yet comfortable four-season retreat for outdoor enthusiasts to explore the spectacular mountains and wilderness of the Moosehead Lake region. Description: Pierce Pond Camps is a traditional Maine sporting camp. It is located on the Lower Pond, remote, yet easily accessible. The same warm hospitality and rustic surroundings prevail as they have since 1904 when the camps were founded. The Cobb family has owned and operated the camps for 51 years. There are 12 cabins, each accommodate 2-6 guests. All have electricity, screened porches, and are heated by wood burning stoves. Pierce Pond is a wonderful spot for family fun and relaxation. Thoughtfully presented, delicious home-cooked meals and personal service make the friendly atmosphere memorable. Swimming, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, and observing wildlife make for a well-rounded vacation.

Description: The Red River Camps are situated on island Pond in the Beboullie Township, right in the heart of the North Maine Woods. The Camps offer three Housekeeping cabins (including one on a private island) and six American plan cabins. Our housekeeping cabins are equipped with private kitchens, while our American plan guests take their meals in our main lodge, which is newly reconstructed for 2009. All of our cabins include private baths. Activities include some of the best fishing the Woods have to offer, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, birding, and hunting.
