2009 NRCM Polar Bear Plunge
Thanks to everyone who participated in our Polar Bear Plunge at East End Beach in Portland on January 2, 2009. This was a great way to kick off NRCM's 50th anniversary!
Thanks to the brave folks who took the plunge, and thank you also to those who pledged the plungers, who came to watch the event, who made coffee and refreshments and those who dressed as polar bears for the event.
Read a blog post by one of the plungers at http://blog.nrcm.org/2009/01/nrcms-polar-plunge-a-survivors-story.html
