When you write your letter to LURC, here are some message points you may want to include:
- Tell your Moosehead story: Tell LURC why Moosehead Lake is special to you.
- Explain how you think Seattle-based Plum Creek’s massive development would harm the natural beauty, and unspoiled, remote character of the Moosehead Lake region forever.
- Point out that Moosehead is a local, state, and national treasure that should be protected for future generations.
- Urge LURC to reject this proposal and urge Plum Creek to come back with a proposal that gets it right.
