NRCM’s annual Citizen Action Day was held on Tuesday, April 4 and was a great opportunity for people to meet with their legislators at the State House in Augusta and urge them to vote to protect Maine’s environment.
NRCM Citizen Action Day
Tuesday, April 4, 2017
8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
NRCM’s office and the Maine State House
3 Wade Street, Augusta
At NRCM Citizen Action Day, participants hear from NRCM’s staff experts first-hand. We provide information on our priority environmental bills, share tips about how to communicate effectively with legislators, escort folks to the State House to help them find their legislators, and make sure that everyone leave Augusta having made a difference. We even provide breakfast and lunch!
Time and time again, concerned citizens like you have had a big impact on the outcome of legislation that is important for Maine’s environment.
Thanks to everyone who attended!
