In-Depth Description

Most people are surprised to learn that cars and trucks are the biggest source of global warming pollution. New technologies are available that make cars more efficient and less polluting. Yet car manufacturers relentlessly lobby against legislation requiring more of these vehicles be made available to drivers.

For the good of Maine people and our environment NRCM continues to lead efforts to make these cleaner, more fuel-efficient vehicles available. Cleaner cars mean cleaner air, and that means a healthier future for all of us.
