Earn “Brownie Points"
You Could Win One of Many Great Prizes
In celebration of our 50th anniversary, NRCM is offering Brownie Points! Each time you attend an event or participate in an activity (see below), you earn a "Brownie Point"—the equivalent of a raffle ticket—to be entered into drawings for prizes* generously donated by Maine businesses. You could win great prizes like an LL Bean kayak package, an Old Town Canoe kayak, gift certificates to local businesses, a puffin cruise and much more. Click here for the full list of raffle prizes.
To be entered into the raffle, print off and complete the "Brownie Points" form or send an email with a subject line "Raffle Entry" to Beth Dimond at beth@nrcm.org. Please include your name, address, phone number, and email address along with the name of the activity in which you participated. Drawings will be held in May, August and December. Good luck and have fun!
*Each Activity Listed Will Earn You One “Brownie” Point:
- Attend Citizen Action Day
- Attend NRCM’s Alewife Celebration
- Attend NRCM’s Rachel Carson Celebration
- Attend a Brown Bag lunch at NRCM’s headquarters in Augusta (1 point each)
- Attend an NRCM staff talk (1 point each)
- Attend a lecture listed on NRCM’s website (1 point each)
- Attend Music for the Environment (1 point)
- Join NRCM for a wind power tour (1 point each)
- Participate in an NRCM-sponsored paddle or hike (1 point each)
- Attend NRCM Movie showing (1 point each)
- Participate in a bird walk (1 point each)
- Stay at a Maine Sporting Camp listed on NRCM’s website (1 point each)
- Take a LMF hike listed on our website (1 point each)
- Submit a photo to My Maine This Week (1 point each)
- Submit your favorite hike (1 point each)
- Conduct a home energy audit (1 point)
- Send a form email to your legislator about one of our environmental priorities (1 point)
- Write a letter to the editor of your local paper about an environmental issue (1 point)
- Participate in an Earth Day celebration (1 point)
- Participate in Commute Another Way Week (1 point)
- Participate in Keep ME Warm Week (1 point)
- Participate in National Trails Day (1 point)
- Participate in Solar House Tour (1 point)
- Participate in Maine Coast Cleanup (1 point)
- Participate in Baxter Cleanup (1 point)
